The Beer and Beef Club Perth partners with HGT each year to offer a lucky apprentice a Scholarship to cover the cost of TAFE fees for a full year. When enrolling each semester, the successful apprentice doesn’t need to worry about paying and being reimbursed at the end of the semester – The Beer and Beef Club pays it for the apprentice.

Applications for the Scholarship are generally called for around May each year for fees to be covered for the forthcoming Semester 2 and Semester 1 of the next year.

Winners 2022

Hospitality Group Training is proud to have a long-term partnership with Beer & Beef Club – Perth in supporting an Apprentice Chef Scholarship covering TAFE fees for a whole year.

Due to the standard of the finalists, the judging panel decided to have a runner up and winner.

Both were presented with their Certificates by Matt Cooper from Beer & Beef Club – Perth at the HGT Awards.

The runner up for the Beer & Beef Club Perth Competition, taking home a generous prize of a Global Knife is Ross Johnson hosted by Brown Street Grill.

The Winner for the Beer & Beef Club Perth Competition, winning the scholarship and taking home a generous prize of a Wusthof Knife is Zeffrey Zelan hosted by Rustico.

Congratulations to Ross and Zeffrey they both have very promising careers ahead of them.

A big thank you Beer & Beef Club – Perth for supporting the next generation of chefs.
